Welcome to 3DPuzzles.com!
This is the perfect place if you want to build great and innovating puzzles.
What am I offering? Stl's files! Some of you know what I'm talking about, but some others are just confused actually. For those who understand, go ahead and visit the "Shop" section to see which puzzles would interest you, even thought I would suggest you to read the rest. For the others, you would really to read the text bellow to understand.
Stl is the contracted form of stereolithography. Originally, those files are created from a complex CAD software. In simpler terms, it's a 3D drawing (for more information about, like the scripting form, etc, you should take a look at STL on Wikipedia).
How can some files help you take a make a real puzzle? Well, these kind of files can be read with a rapid prototyping printer machine. This is a 3D printer in fact. It will bring you files to live, in ABS plastic. Of course, it's not anybody that can afford a machine like that, there are persons/companies that offer those services. The files I'm offering are the masters. This means, one copy of each different part needed to get the puzzle built (you can always print more if you want). A lot of people will go for printing a set of masters, and then do the puzzle with casting (making mold and copying the parts with resin until each part is done). You can also decide to print every part needed for the puzzle, so no casting is required. This is up to you.
I wish you a great visit, and thank you!
